Shula has been a founding member of SandStone Global Productions since it started in 2017. During that time, she has worked on more than twenty specialist factual series from idea development to final documentary delivery. She has produced shoots across the world in countries such as Greece, Italy, France, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Tunisia, Georgia, and Turkey securing exclusive access to a wide range of cultural institutions and archaeological sites. Projects Shula has worked on have aired on BBC Four, Channel 4 and Channel 5 in the UK as well as globally on BBC Select, Smithsonian Channel, Google Arts and Culture, Discovery Channel and National Geographic.
Shula has a background in Fine Art and Art History as well as an MA in Reception to the Classical World, with a specialism in the presentation of the Ancient World on Screen. Previously she worked in publishing and short-form digital media on a variety of arts and history projects as a writer, editorial contributor and project manager.
